Why is glow up bulb so good

A free mill nowadays is treated as a free draw if a monster is milled, especially if said monster provides the perfect set-up for the player to win. In addition, a Synchro out of nowhere is still dangerous, no matter how you look at it. Plus, the Naturia Synchros will always be dangerous, even crippling to a good number of Decks. That one time is enough if you wanted to get a Synchro or whatever it is you want -- it advances your plans without you having to spend extra cards.

Whether that happens all of once or a million times is immaterial, except in making the problem a matter of degree as well. I just don't get what a plus or two off of Glow Up Bulb is hurting when decks these days need to plus off each other to win. If one card doesn't get more cards out of it then it is not a good deck; etc etc. How does Bulb do this anymore than anything else?

Card advantage is not everything. Bulb allows you to make offensive Synchros with no field and a single monster in hand, "upgrading" a dead draw into viability. It also extends Synchro combos significantly by serving as Material twice in one turn. Glow-Up Bulb vs Spore. Start new topic. Prev 1 2 Next Page 1 of 2. Recommended Posts.
